Welcome to the Railway Suite Leyland
Welcome to The Railway Suite, the brand new function room above The Railway at Leyland, well we say brand new but the function room has been there since 1838 we have just resurrected it after it has been closed for 32 years. During it's long history it has hosted many community functions, been used as a courthouse, a Masonic Lodge, base for the Home Guard and a myriad of other uses. From March 2012 it will be reopened and available for all your function needs inc birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, christenings, funerals, school reunions, kids parties and any other function you require, the room is capable of holding up to 100 people and will be totally self contained with it's own entrance with disabled lift, bar, toilets and smoking shelter and will be decorated and furnished to the same high standard as the ground floor.
We will also be doing various other events inc The Leyland Comedy Club on the last Saturday of every month starting on the 28th April (please see separate page), Northern Soul nights starting on Easter Sunday, 70's Night inc Abba Tribute Band, and we have The Houghton Weavers booked for later in the year, please see the Events page for details of all this and more.
